SMU Falls Short To Memphis 70-67

DALLAS, TEXAS – Guard Jahmal McMurray put up a career-high 33 as the SMU Mustangs fell 70-67 to Memphis. “Murphy’s Law is in full effect around here,” head coach Tim Jankovich said in his postgame news conference.

Senior Ben Emelogu was scoreless for the first 39 minutes hit a 3-pointer with 42.3 seconds left to get SMU back within two but it wasn’t enough as the Mustangs have lost two in a row at home.
