I respect the guys that go over there and fight for us everyday: Family members that we all got a part of. That’s why I stand. “
After the controversy this past season surrounding the national anthem protests, the NFL has a new rule that mandates players to stand on the field when the anthem is played. If players want to kneel, they have to do so in the privacy of their own locker-room. Austin has made it clear what his actions will be once the 2018 season begins.
