FC Dallas, New England Draw 1-1

FRISCO, Texas — MLS is back and FC Dallas opened the season with a 1-1 tie against the New England Revolution.

Michael Barrios took on two defenders to set the team up with an early goal in the 13th minute, assisted by Dominque Badji. New England was able to tie the game up in the second half with a goal by Carles Gil.

Luchi Gonzalez made his head coaching debut today for FC Dallas, says he’s proud with the progress this team has made and the opportunities created.

FC Dallas returns to Toyota Stadium Saturday, March 9th to take on LA Galaxy. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
