DALLAS, Tx — SMU Men’s Basketball player Jimmy Whitt Jr. made it Twitter official that he has declared for the NBA draft. Whitt made a tweet Monday afternoon about his decision. This is just after coming off from the AAC tournament where the Mustangs fell in the quarterfinals.

Whitt only played two season with the Mustangs. He started his career at Arkansas, and transferred to SMU for the 2016-17 season where he had to sit out due to NCAA transfer rules. During his entire SMU career, Whitt played 2,149 minutes and racked up 716 points. We will be following along Jimmy Whitt and his journey in the NBA draft being held on June 20.
