FRISCO, Texas — After facing their first loss on the road, FC Dallas bounces back with a 2-1 victory against the Colorado Rapids.
Dallas maintained possession the first half and capitalized with a goal by Michael Barrios in the 35th minute. The goal was assisted by homegrown player Jesus Ferreira.
Dallas started five homegrown players in today’s match making it the fourth time in the clubs history.
The Rapids tied the game up with a goal by Tommy Smith in the 68th minute, however Dallas was able to take back the lead with a goal by Ryan Hollingshead in the 82nd minute.
Coach Gonzalez says the players were more engaged and really pushed through this game.
FC Dallas hits the road to take on Real Salt Lake Saturday March 30th. Kickoff is set for 8pm.
