FRISCO, TX- All the around the Toyota Stadium, FC Dallas aficionados came to what would be another match up against Toronto and the U.S after the 2019 NBA playoffs.
Kickoff started with the dynamic duo of the night, Midfielder- Michael Barrios and Forward- Jesus Ferreira of FC Dallas. An assist from Barrios to Ferreira almost led to what would be the first goal of the night. A relentless Barrios kicked out of bounds leading Forward Dominique Badji winning a free kick in the defensive half.
Being only the first 20 minutes of the 1st quarter, Badji leads the match taking the ball out of Toronto’s reach. With Badji attempting to score a shot from the outside box, misses and is later assisted by Ferreira.
Minute 30 reaches with a defensive play from Barrios with a conceded left footed shot from the right side.
Ten minutes later FC Dallas fans rose from their seats for the first goal of the night. From Colombia, 19 year old Ferreira leads the winning streak with a right footed shot from the centre of the box. Concluding the 1st half with a score of 1 to 0.

Setting the tone for the 2nd half, Midfielder – Paxton Pomykal and Ferreira took advantage of an empty defense and headed the ball to Toronto’s territory. The assitance of this duo, led way for Barrios scoring the 2nd goal.
Expressing his concern of their loss against New Mexico, FC Dallas coach Adrian Gonzalez stated “that hurt…but they’re responding. And the boys have shown they’re really focused on the 2 cups left”.
Barrios echoed Gonzalez’s sentiments and felt the Toronto match up was focusing them for success…”I feel we were concentrated from the very first minute. In the beginning of the game we did lose the ball a couple times maybe it was the goalie or the temperature …But the most important thing is we scored those three points and kept on going forward”.
Barrios assisted Ferreira towards the end of the second-quarter, but was slightly far off left missing the second attempt for a goal.
Ending the second quarter the forward Dominique Badji was assisted by Jesús Ferreira scoring a goal and concluding the match with Dallas 3 to 0.
