DALLAS, Texas — The SMU Mustangs will continue their four-game home stand by hosting Northwestern State this evening in Moody Coliseum. SMU is still perfect on the season, 7-0 overall and 5-0 at home, while Northwestern State is 2-4 so far. This is the teams best start since the 2015-16 season, when they went 18-0 to start.
Kendric Davis and Feron Hunt are both coming off of double-double performances in their win against Abilene Christian on Friday, when both of them finished with the exact same numbers, 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Head coach Tim Jankovich and his squad will look to continue being sound on the defensive end, as the Mustangs have held 6 of their 7 opponents to shooting 40% or lower. That defense currently ranks 2nd in the American Athletic Conference and 21st nationally.
Tip-off between the Mustangs and Demons is set for 7pm.
