DALLAS, TEXAS — After loosing 3 of their last 4 games the Dallas Mavericks got back in the win column tonight with a victory over the Chicago Bulls 118-110. This is the Mavericks 4th straight game without Kristaps Porzingis has been recovering from a right knee soreness. Tim Hardaway Jr had also missed the last three games with a hamstring injury, but was able to go tonight as he got off to a quick start with 14 points in the 1st quarter.
Luka Doncic had a big night like he has done all season long, finishing with his 11th triple-double of the season as he leads the NBA. Doncic now has more 30-point triple-doubles than the rest of the NBA combined for this season. Doncic finished with 38 points tonight with 21 of them coming in the 3rd quarter. He also pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out 10 assists. Dwight Powell added in 16 points tonight, shooting a perfect 6-for-6 from the field, while also pulling down 7 rebounds.
For the Bulls, Lauri Markkanen was the high scorer with 26 points, coming off α game where he had a sprained ankle and was just questioned to play heading into the game tonight.
The Mavs continue their 6-game home stand on Wednesday when they host the Denver Nuggets back at the American Airlines Center.
