DALLAS, TX — The wait is finally over. In the next few weeks, 22 teams will finish the 2019-2020 NBA regular season in Orlando, FL. The Dallas Mavericks are among the bunch who will be in a “bubble” as they play again for the first time since March 11. With making a deep run into the playoffs looming over their heads, the Mavs are determined to play with intensity like they were prior to being in quarantine.
The Mavs will look a little different heading into Orlando with Dwight Powell (achilles), Willie Cauley-Stein (personal), Jalen Brunson (shoulder), and Courtney Lee (calf) missing in action. As a result, Dallas recently signed Trey Burke from Philadelphia to help out in the backcourt. The Mavericks will play a total of eight games before heading into postseason play with the first game being against the Houston Rockets on July 31.
