FRISCO, TX – Training Camp is approaching and defensive tackle Antwaun Woods signed his exclusive rights free agent tender and is back with the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas acquired many bodies to the interior of their defensive line during the offseason with free agents Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe, along with draft selection Neville Gallimore. The team also has second-year player Trysten Hill and now Woods will officially re-join the group.
Woods has started in 25 games over the past two seasons at defensive tackle and accumulated 29 tackles and a fumble recovery in 2019.
In addition on Tuesday, the Cowboys waived running back Jordan Chunn and defensive tackle Garrett Marino. The club also placed defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford and Dontari Poe on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list for the beginning of Training Camp.
