DALLAS, Texas — SMU Men’s Basketball to Host Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Monday night. Both teams come into the matchup 1-0 on the 2020 season.

SMU opened their season last week with a 30 point win over Sam Houston State. Guard, Kendric Davis comes off a career high scoring, with 33 points over SHSU. The Mustangs looked sharp overall, especially for their first game after an unprecedented off season, without any scrimmages or preseason games.
Mustang’s Head coach, Tim Jankovich said he thought a lot of his guys played well, but he wants to see them play more fluidly together and execute betted.
The Mustangs start their American Athletic Conference schedule December 16th, which will consist of 20 games.
The Mustangs hold an impressive 48-12 record against non conference opponents during the regular season, in their 5 seasons under Jankovich. Their match up with the Islanders will tip off at Moody Coliseum at 7 pm. The game will be available on ESPN+.
