Oklahoma Beats Iowa State For Sixth Straight Big 12 Title

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Oklahoma Sooners got revenge against Iowa State, who handed them a loss in early conference play, with a win today in the Big 12 Championship game. OU got ahead early, having a 17-point lead twice during the game, but the #6 Cyclones made it interesting down the stretch.

Iowa State had a strong 2nd half performance, clawing their way back into the game, but in the end the #10 Sooners were able to hang on 27-21. Quarterback Spencer Rattler was voted the Most Outstanding Player in the game, throwing for 272 yards with 1 passing touchdown and 1 rushing touchdown.
