Mike Miles Named Big 12 Newcomer Of The Week For The Second Time

FORT WORTH, TX – Freshman guard Mike Miles was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on Monday for the second time this season. 

Miles averages 14.9 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game. He is shooting 52 percent from the floor and 48 percent from the 3-point line. 

Miles had a career-high 26 points against North Dakota State. That is the most points a TCU freshman has scored in 10 years. He was 11-of-18 from the floor and 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. Miles 11 field goals tied for the fourth most of any freshman this year.

The Horned Frogs (7-2) will host Prairie Valley A&M (1-3) on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
