AMES, IOWA — TCU moved to 12-10 on the season and snapped a three-game losing streak after a 76-72 win over Iowa State (2-18).

The Horned Frogs led by as much as 14 points in the first half with the help of Chuck O’Bannon and Kevin Samuel. O’Bannon had 11 points and Samuel added 10.

TCU went into the locker room up 37-30.

The Cyclones came into the second half and made the first 11 of their 14 shots to start out the half. The Cyclones tied the game at 57 and it was a back and forth contest from then on out.
