FC Dallas (Eddie Koton)
FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas is on fire right now as they prepare for their next preseason match April 13th. The team is hitting a lot of highs together as their chemistry is continuously showing out. Coach Luchi is staying headstrong with his team and sees their improvements everyday.
Superstar forward and United States National Team player, Jesus Ferreira feels about the upcoming season kicking off April 17th. Ferreira says, ” I am more than ready for the season to start. I feel that we get better everyday, there are still some improvements to be made but we’re ready to play. I have a lot of personal goals this year because I feel last year wasn’t my best year. I didn’t get to assist and score like I wanted to, so that’s what i’m focusing on. I’ve been working hard for more playing time so I can get more assists, goals, and become a better player than I was before.”
Jesus is a United States National Team player where he was called to play in the 2020 Summer Olympics but due to Covid -19 the games had been pushed back. However, he made his appearance in the U.S. camp in January 2020 where he scored two goals in that same month.
Needless to say Jesus is a fantastic athlete who comes to compete everyday at the highest level but we also wanted to know how his experience with the U.S. The National Team compares him physically to the other guys on the team and how working with Coach Luchi helped him understand his position at a nine or ten. Jesus-” fitness comparison, I feel great! The training from the U.S. team helped me a lot and as far as my positions go, I played more of a nine with the U.S. team but I also played a ten at times. I love to score but if the Coach needs me at a ten i’m fine with it, i’m used to both positions.”
We will be keeping an eye out for Jesus Ferreira and all the other players on this team as the start of the FC Dallas season is right around the corner. Stay tuned.
