ARLINGTON, Texas — The Orioles pulled it off once again late in the eighth inning with a 6-1 victory over the Rangers, pushing their record down to 6-9.
The game was slow and didn’t pick up until the eighth when the orioles went on a 2 score drive. The first score of the game came from the Rangers in the bottom of the fourth inning, Dahl singled to left center, allowing Lowe to score and moving Garcia to second. Moments later Solak grounded into a double play, with the shortstop to second, to first, leaving Dahl out at second. It wasn’t until the top of the seventh when the Orioles scored.
Mullins reached on infield single to first, and Galvis slid into home base. During the eighth inning the Orioles picked it up, Mancini doubled to left, Stewart scored and Franco ran to third. Right after Mountcastle hit a sacrifice fly to right and Franco scored.
The Orioles went on to score three more points in the ninth inning while the Rangers couldn’t find home base after scoring in the fourth.
