FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys have re-signed defensive tackle Antwaun Woods, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus on Thursday.
Woods, a restricted free agent, received the $2.183 million original-round tender back in March.
To start his career, Woods signed with the Tennessee Tians an undrafted free agent in 2016 and spent the majority of his first two years in the league on the practice squad. He joined the Cowboys in 2018 and climbed the depth chart with an impressive training camp.
Throughout his three-year career in Dallas, Woods has started 32 games notching 80 tackles, eight quarterback hits, 2.5 sacks, and a pass breakup. He accumulated 23 tackles, a tackle for loss, and a sack in 14 games last season. Woods has been a key contributor from the interior in Dallas’ defensive line and will return in 2021.
