FC Dallas Fall To San Jose 3-1

SAN JOSE, CA — The San Jose Earthquakes certainly shook up FC Dallas as they were unstoppable in Saturday. San Jose center back Oswaldo Alanis scored the first goal in the 34th minute. Then going into the second half midfielder Cristian Espinoza attacked the ball leading the earthquakes with their second goal in the 49th minute.

Midfielder Cade Cowell, led San Jose to their final goal in the 59th minute making the score 3-0. Fc Dallas didn’t leave so easily though, as the homegrown forward Ricardo Pepi pushed to the very end to score for FC Dallas in the 79th minute, making the final score 3-1.

FC Dallas Head Coach Luchi Gonzalez stated, “The game is about moments, we capitalize and realize our mistakes this game. I felt the first ten minutes we came out very strong but then it became an uphill battle to score. We need to put more pressure on the ball and keep the opponent on their toes and also play more attack in our game. Again, the potential is there, we just need to push a little harder.”

Dallas heads back home to the Toyota Stadium as they face the Portland Timbers next Saturday, May 1st. Stay Tuned.
