ARLINGTON, Texas — The Rangers came out swinging early and snapped a four-game losing streak, with their 6-1 win against the Angels Tuesday night.
No coincidence, Nick Solak who we expect nothing less than at least 1 home run every few games, hit two today. One in the first and one in the seventh. Which made it his seventh home run of the season and first career multi-home run game.
The Rangers were firing on all cylinders as Joey Gallo later homered in the third which led Solak to score again. Willie Calhoun and Jose Trevino also reached home base tonight both in the fourth inning.
The Angels had no answers tonight and just couldn’t seem to find home base after scoring in the second. The Rangers closed it out in the top of the 9th after David Fletcher grounded into a double play. The Rangers are now 10-14 and look to close out the series Wednesday night.
