ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers defeated The Boston Red Sox 8-6 in front of 35,000 fans in Arlington, Texas as the Rangers redeem themselves after yesterday’s loss.
Willie Calhoun was the player of the game, but tonight’s win was strictly a team effort. As the Red Sox and Rangers traded blows.
Five different players reached home base, Calhoun and Isiah Kiner-Falefa both homered tonight one in the fifth, and one in the sixth.
The third and sixth inning was where the Rangers got paid, with three runs in each inning. The Red Sox just couldn’t manage to stay a course.
Rangers close out the Series with the Red Sox at home Sunday.
