FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas took on Real Salt Lake that led to a draw of 2-2. Both teams on offense and defense had equal amounts of possession of the ball, but even with an added five minutes to the end of the game, Salt Lake made it too difficult for Dallas to score again.
In the first half Salt Lake forward Rubio Revien scored in the 20th minute. FC Dallas forward Jadar Obrian quickly responded with his first goal of the night, tying the game 1-1. In the second half Dallas defender Ryan Hollingshed scored in the 83rd minute, but Salt Lake’s offense was too quick as they responded almost immediately, when midfielder Damir Krallach made his goal tying the game 2–2.
FC Dallas head coach Luchi Gonzales commented, “we were disappointed we couldn’t secure the win tonight. We need to keep progressing and we need to keep pushing so we can finish with a win.”
Dallas is back on the road next week to face the Colorado Rapids.
