FRISCO, Texas — After hosting the 2020 training camp at the team headquarters in Frisco, Texas due to COVID-19 regulations, the Dallas Cowboys will return to Oxnard, Calif. to open their 62nd camp on July 21.
This year, there will be a semblance of normalcy again. Fans will be allowed to attend all practice sessions that are open to the public, beginning with the first workout at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 22. The annual ceremony will commence on Saturday, July 24th at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific), which will be followed by an 11:00 a.m. practice.
A couple of noteworthy highlights during this year’s camp: The Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio on August 5th against the Pittsburgh Steelers and a joint practice session with the Los Angeles Rams in Oxnard on Saturday, August 7th. The Hall of Fame exhibition game will be broadcast nationally by FOX at 7:00 p.m. (Central) and the practice with the Rams at River Ridge Field will be televised live on the Dallas Cowboys Television Network, NFL Network, and streamed on Dallascowboys.com.
Training camp in Oxnard will conclude on Thursday, August 12th. Following a preseason game against the Cardinals on Friday, August 13th in Glendale, Arizona, the team will travel back to Texas to host the final portion of camp at Ford Center at the Star in Frisco.
