FC Dallas Draws 1-1 with Minnesota United FC

FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas (1-3-4, 7 points) split the points with Minnesota United FC (2-5-1, 8 points) at Toyota Stadium Saturday night.

In the 36 minute Minnesota scored the first goal of the night when Franco Fragapane scored the rebound after Maurer saved Hunou’s initial shot inside the box.

FC Dallas ties the score in the 68 minute by Ricardo Pepi. “I saw the space open and Ryan played that ball. I didn’t think he’d play the ball but I just saw it coming and hit it first-time. I saw the space was open so I hit it with the outside of my foot to that side and it went in. I made that run for the ball to get on my left side and moved a little bit because I knew the angle was going to be hard on the right side so I moved to the left side and luckily it fell there,” says Pepi.

FC Dallas hits the road to Banc of California Stadium on Wednesday, June 23 to face LAFC.
