Wings Beat The Fever

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Dallas Wings brought home the win against the Indiana Fever Thursday Night in Fever territory.

While The Fever struggled to break the longest losing streak of the season, The Wings wasted no time pulling ahead in the first quarter with a 12-point lead. Hitting three 3 pointers in the first quarter the Wings ended the quarter 24 – 12.

In the second quarter, The Fever struggled to put up any points for a little over four minutes, causing the Wings to increase their lead to 19 points ending the first half 43- 24.
Fever Kelsey Mitchell dropped 14 points in the third quarter, but the Wings still managed to hold the lead 62- 47.

To end the fourth quarter the Wings won by a 25 point lead, ending the night 89 – 64.

For the Wings, six of their players managed to score in the double figures. Wings Satou Sabally was a key player for the team’s victory putting up 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists. Also coming off on an ankle injury, Wings Marina Mabrey managed to put up 14 points to help her team get the win.

Wings will be traveling back home to play the Washington Mystics on June 26th at the College Park Center at 12 pm.
