FRISCO, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys are now down to their final 53-man roster. The club trimmed the roster to hit the NFL mandated league-maximum on Tuesday.
The Cowboys waived/released 24 players on Tuesday to set the initial roster, but the list is subject to change in the coming days. Several of the players listed below will return as a member of the Cowboys’ 16-man practice squad. If they clear waivers, players can be signed. A few players will be eligible for the Reserved/Injured list after being on the 53-man roster for a day, including Neville Gallimore (elbow), Sean McKeon (ankle), and Josh Ball (ankle). Also, four players on the current Reserve/COVID-19 list will be activated soon: CeeDee Lamb, Connor Williams, Carlos Watkins, and Damontae Kazee.
