Mavs Looking to Bounce Back After 31 Point Loss To Denver

DALLAS, TX – The Mavericks (3-2) are looking to bounce back after a 31-point loss to Denver (3-2) on Friday. Dallas will be taking on the Sacramento Kings on Halloween in American Airlines Center.

Dallas was without Porzingis on Friday due to lower back tightness and they are hoping to have him back for them to play Sacramento on Sunday.

The Mavs shot horribly against the Nuggets at just 29 percent from the floor converting on 23-of-78 shots. They shot even worse from the three-point line converting on just 8-of-37 at 21 percent on the night.

Dallas got outrebounded 51-32 to the Nuggets and only have 22 points in the paint compared to the 50 Denver had.

The Mavs also had 15 turnovers on the night.

Luka Doncic led all scorers with 16 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

The Sacramento Kings are coming off a 113-109 win against the New Orleans Pelicans. They were led by De’Aaron Fox with 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Three other players scored in the high double figures; Richaun Holmes, Tyrese Haliburton, and Buddy Heild.

The Kings shot incredibly well converting on 40-of-80 of their shots, shooting 50 percent on the night. They shot 33 percent from the three-point line.

These two teams will go head to head tomorrow at 2:30 PM.
