Mavericks are 3-0 In AAC as They Welcome the 5-1 Miami Heat Tonight

DALLAS, TX – The Dallas Mavericks (4-2) are welcoming the Miami Heat (5-1) tonight in American Airlines at 6:30 PM. The Mavs are 3-0 to start the season at home and will have a challenge tonight as the Heat are looking for the fifth straight win.

Kristaps Porzingas is questionable to play tonight due to lower back tightness and Maxi Kleber is ruled out due to a back issue as well.

The Mavs have gotten off to a bit of a slow start this season, but they still have one of the best playmakers in the league. Luka Doncic is averaging 22.5 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists. Those numbers are all still high despite a shooting slump that Dallas is seeing teamwide.

Dallas will have to pick things up defensively due to the fact that they are not shooting the ball well early on in this season.

Miami is in the top five in the NBA for shooting average. The Heat are on a hot streak as they hit the road and head to Dallas. They lost their first game of the season and ever since then they have been on a roll, winning their last four games and looking for their fifth.

The Heat are loaded with Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro. Bam Adebayo is listed as questionable for tonight’s game. Butler is shooting lights out to start off this season averaging 62 percent shooting,  25 points, seven rebounds, and 5.5 assists.

Herro is adding 22 points on 39 percent on shooting from three-point shooting.

Tip off is set for 6:30 PM and will be televised on Bally Sports SW.
