Mavericks Welcome Denver at Home Tonight

DALLAS, TX – Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingas combine for 64 points, 32 a piece, in Friday night’s game against the Spurs to beat San Antonio 123-109 moving them to 8-4 on the season and forth in the Western Conference.

The Mavs will welcome Denver on Monday. The Nuggets are on a five-game win streak and are third in the Western Conference sitting at 9-4. Denver has beat Dallas already this season 106-75 on October 29.

Doncic is coming off of a triple-double against the Spurs on Friday night. Porzingis added an additional 32 points and seven rebounds on top of Luka’s tremendous game. In the previous game between these two teams Porzingas did not play due to lower back injury that kept him out for four games. He’s back in the rotation and him and Luka were feeling it on Friday. It’s rare these two can ever find mojo together in the same game but when they do it’s beautiful to watch.

Maxi Kleber remains out for the Mavs with an oblique injury.

Denver’s shining star is Nikola Jokic. He is on a rampage coming up just shy of his third consecutive triple-double against the Trail Blazers on Saturday night. He ended the contest with 28 points. nine rebounds, and nine assists.

Michael Porter Jr. will be out tomorrow night for the Nuggets.

With Porter Jr. out and Denver on a back-to-back game schedule that could help the Mavericks wear down a tired Nugget team.

Tip off is set for 7 P.M. in American Airlines Center in Dallas.
