FORT WORTH, TX – Undefeated at home, TCU Men’s Basketball (4-1) will host Austin Peay State University (3-2) at Schollmaier Arena tonight.
During a trip to San Juan Capistrano, California last week, the Horned Frogs took their first loss of the season after losing to Santa Clara 85-66 in the SoCal Challenge.
TCU walked away from the showcase 1-1 with a 73-64 win over Pepperdine as Head Coach Jamie Dixon reached his 100th win for the program.
The usual suspects looked strong in their roles as Mike Miles completed the game with a team-high 16 points and Emanuel Miller with 15 points and 10 rebounds, for his third double-double of the season.
The Governors are coming off of a two-game win streak as they look to defeat their first Power Five team since 2011. On the road, Austin Peay is 2-2 and averages 67.8 points per game.
This is the first meeting between the two teams and Coach Dixon’s first time taking on the Governors. Marking this as TCU’s sixth straight game playing an opponent that Dixon has never faced.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and will air on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
