TCU vs Oklahoma State Preview

STILLWATER, OK – The TCU Horned Frogs (12-2) will head to Stillwater tomorrow night to take on Oklahoma State (9-7). The Frogs are looking for their third straight win after defeating Oklahoma on Saturday by one, 59-58 in overtime.

TCU is coming off a great win over Oklahoma this past saturday. This was a defensive battle the entire game and it was fun to watch.

The Frogs student section broke a record with 2,144 students accounted for at Saturday afternoons game and they made a big impact in the arena. The arena had 7,175 total fans there, the most that have been in the arena since it was renovated in 2015.

The crowd definitely made an impact in that game. The game was back and forth the entire 40 minutes and the crowd really gave TCU the energy it needed to finish out the overtime with a win.

TCU was led by Charles O’Bannon Jr. with 11 points and four rebounds. Micah Peavy also added 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

With that win TCU moved to 2-1 in conference play and 12-2 overall this season. They jumped to second in the Big 12 behind Kansas who currently sits at 14-2 and 3-1 in conference play.

The Frogs have a lot of momentum coming into this game against a struggling Oklahoma State team. They currently sit second to last in the conference at 2-3 with an overall record of 9-7. They have lost their last three games and are eager for a win.

TCU can’t go out there and play litely just because they have a better record. The Frogs need to play hard and add another win to the win column.

These two teams will go head to head tonight at 7:00 PM.
