TCU Takes Third Straight Loss To Baylor 72-62

WACO, TX – TCU (16-8, 5-7) lost their third straight game after losing to the Baylor Bears (22-5, 10-4) 72-62 Saturday morning in Waco. The Frogs avoided a shutout performance by Baykor going on a 13-1 run late in the game to make it a 10-point win for the Bears.

Another poor shooting day for the Frogs, which has been par for the course for this team this year. TCU shot 2-of-11 from beyond the arc shooting just 18 percent. To make matters worse they had 15 turnovers on the day as well.

The first half was ugly for TCU as they went into the locker room down 33-23. That was due to the fact that they had 10 turnovers, eight fouls, and shot 9-of-26 from the floor.

“I know how much potential we have, and I know how much each individual cares about this program…it’s just really frustrating because it’s not showing on the court.”, Emanuel Miller told the media post game.

Emanuel Miller led TCU today with 16 points, seven rebounds, and one assist. Micah Peavy added 16 points, six rebounds, and one assist. Mike Miles also contributed 13 points, four rebounds, and five assists.

Baylor wasn’t shooting well in the first half either; they were 0-10 going into the half and were still up by double-figures.

Baylor was led by Jeremy Sochan with 17 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

TCU will be back in Fort Worth on Monday night to play West Virginia. Tip off is set for 7 PM.
