DALLAS, Texas — Dorian Finney-Smith hit the game winning 3-pointer as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Sacramento Kings 114-113 Saturday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dorian Finney-Smith had 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. “Honestly, I kind of figured the ball was going to come there because of the play we drew up. It was going to be JB [Jalen Brunson] down here and if he didn’t get the layup, I figured it was coming to me. I’m just happy he made a great pass and I made the shot,” Finney-Smith said on shot from Jalen Brunsone shot.”
Jalen Brunson had 23 points to go with 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Brunson has posted a career-best 16 20-point games in 2021-22, after he produced 13 20-point outings in his previous two seasons combined.
Josh Green contributed 12 points on 4-6 shooting to go with a career-high 12 rebounds, which included a career-high 6 offensive boards. Dallas improved to 10-1 this season when No. 8 scores 8+ points.
