WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Dallas Mavericks (48-29) will head to Washington D.C. to play the Washington Wizards (33-43) on Friday night. Tip off is set for 6 PM CST.
Despite the Wizards’ record this season this is not a game to take lightly as Dallas needs to win every game they can if they want to keep the third seed in the Western Conference. The Mavs are currently tied with the Golden State Warriors sitting at 48-29 and they need to continue winning if they want to hold that spot.
This will be the first time Dallas plays the Wizards since the Kristaps Porzingis trade. It will be interesting to see Luka Doncic and Porzingis play against each other tonight seeing that they played two seasons together and were very close when they played in Dallas together.
The Mavs have won three straight and seem to be feeling themselves as it gets closer and closer to playoff time. Doncic is playing some of his best basketball yet averaging 33 points per game as of late. Another player that seems to be sizzling up is Reggie Bullock. After losing to the Timberwolves and shooting 0-6 he has hit on 15 of his last 26 attempts at 58 percent.
You can watch this game tonight at 6 PM CST and it will be broadcasted on Bally Sports SW.
