Dallas Cowboys Draft Six Players On Day Three Of The 2022 NFL Draft

FRISCO, TX – With the 2022 NFL Draft complete lets go over the Dallas Cowboys final six picks on day three of the draft. The Cowboys had a lot more work to do on day three seeing that the majority of their picks were in the fifth round.

Jerry Jones told us in a press conference after day two that the meat of the draft was still not over due to the fact that they had six picks in rounds four through six. Below is a breakdown of the six picks:

Round 4 : Pick 129 – Jake Ferguson, TE, Wisconsin

Ferguson was a 4 year starter out of Wisconsin where he finished his career with 142 career receptions for 1,585 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was named First-Team All-Big Ten in 2021 and caught a team high 46 passes for 450 yards.

Round 5 : Pick 155 – Matt Waletzko, OT, North Dakota

Waletzko was a first team pick in 2021 starting in 10 games at left tackle before an upper-body injury sidelined him. What makes him so appealing to NFL teams is his skyscraping tall body with great upper body power with arms measuring over 35 in long.

Round 5 : Pick 167 – DaRon Bland, CB, Fresno State

Bland has size and physicality that works in his favor. Bland had just one tackle for loss with the bulldogs in 2021 and had at least 40 total tackles of those 3 years.

Round 5 : Pick 176 – Damone Clark, LB, LSU

According to the Cowboys, Clark will undergo spinal surgery and is expected to miss his rookie year. The recovery process for that surgery is six months minimum.

Round 5 : Pick 178 – John Ridgeway, DT, Arkansas

Ridgeway played most of his college years at Illinois State before transferring to Arkansas for his 2021 season. There he started in 11of 12 games making 39 tackles.

Round 6: Pick 193 – Devin Harper, LB, Oklahoma State

Harper spent six years in a Cowboys jersey where he racked up 216 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 4 pass breakups and 2 forced fumbles.
