The Wing’s offense was on fire outscoring the Mystics in the second half by eleven points. Both Arike Ogunbowale and Alisha Gray combined for a total of 48 points, while Forward Isabelle Harrison with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Ty Harris played a huge role in the points scored, totaling a career-high 10 assists.
Head coach Vickie Johnson was extremely proud of the team’s effort to come out after halftime and shoot the
ball consistently, giving the largest lead of the night at 17 points. “How we finish the half is very important. I think they believed. We believed as a whole that we could win the basketball game.” Coach Johnson stated post-game. “We wanted to play hard, we wanted to defend, and we wanted to play for each other, and we did that.”
