Dallas Wings Vs Seattle Storm Preview

ARLINGTON, TX- Coach Vickie Johnson and The Wings are back in Arlington to face off against The Seattle Storm tonight, June 10th at 7:00 P.M CT on Bally Sports Southwest.

The Wings are returning from a three-game road series that resulted in one win against Seattle on June 3rd 68-51. Forward Allisha Gray led her team that night in points totaling 18, following Satou Saballys 11
rebounds.

Seattle has two key players that have returned to the roster, Ezi Magbegor, and Sue Bird. Magbegor leads the WNBA in blocked shots per game, while Bird is in the top three for assists per game. Both players are key for the Seattle team as a whole.

Coach Vickie Johnson stated in Thursday’s Postgame practice, “Sue is the head of the snake, so we have to be very aggressive with her. We might have to change our defensive schemes, so we’ve got to be very aggressive with her.”

Dallas is coming into tonight’s game averaging 80 points and 36.1 rebounds per game. All-star guard Arike Ogunbowale sits at the top for the wings in points per game as she is averaging 18.5, followed by Kayla Thornton’s 7.8 rebounds per game.

Seattle is trailing behind the Wings averaging 77.2 points and 32.7 rebounds per game.
The Wings are currently sixth in the WNBA standings, sitting at 6-5 for the season. Dallas defense will be
tested in tonight’s match-up as the Storm returning players plan to make their return in tonight’s game.
