ARLINGTON, TX- The Dallas Wings will host the Phoenix Mercury at the College Park Arena, tonight at 7 P.M CT. The last time the pair met was on May 19th where it was the Wings who secured the 94-84 victory.
Coach Vickie Johnson and the Wings are currently sitting in 3rd place in the Western Conference with a 6-8 record, while Mercury is just shy in 4th at 6-9.
Dallas is averaging 80.8 points and 35.9 rebounds per game and allowing their opponents 81.3 points and 32.9 rebounds per game.
The Wings come into tonight’s game having lost the last 4 consecutive games in tough matches. Their previous game against the Las Vegas Aces ended in a 92-84 loss, where Kelsey Plum and Aj’a Wilson led the Aces for a combined 52 points. Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale held it down on the Offensive side with 28 points, but that wasn’t enough to take the win.
Mercury has won their last four out of five games with high-scoring points. Their previous game on Wednesday, against Indiana, resulted in a Phoenix 93-80 win.
Tonight’s game will begin at 7 P.M CT and will be broadcasted on Ballys Sports Southwest.
