ARLINGTON, TX — Coach Vickie Johnson and The Dallas Wings are back in Arlington at the College Park Center, to host Indiana Fever tonight, June 23, and 7 P.M CT.
The Wings returned home from Atlanta after their two-game winning streak was snapped 75-80, leaving with an 8-9 record. Dallas still sits in third place in the Western Conference while the Indiana Fever sits last in the Eastern Conference.
Dallas shot just 38% from the field where it was Allisha Gray who led with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Followed by Arike Ogunbowale and Teaira McCowan’s 14 points each.
The Wings score 81.1 ppg this season offensively while allowing their opponent 81.6 ppg. As a team, they’re shooting 41.6% from the field and 36% from the three-point line.
Indiana is coming off of Sunday’s 89-87 win against Chicago Sky, shocking their fans with the upset. Nalyssa Smith led the offensive with 26 points and 11 rebounds.
These two teams saw each other back in early May during the preseason, and it was Dallas that snagged the victory in that game 100-89.
Satou Sabally will be on the bench with a knee injury and will not participate in tonight’s matchup.
