No points were put-on the scoreboard until twenty-seven minutes into the game. The first goal of the night was led by winger Alan Velasco, off a free kick, making this the 19-year-olds 3rd MLS goal of the year.

Nkosi Burgess opened the second half, substituting in for defender, Jose Martinez. Martinez. FC Dallas waited till the 2nd half to sub in Burgess, saving one of their three substitutions.

Eighty-eight minutes into the match, Inter Miami saw their first goal of the night, led by forward, Leonardo Campana, bringing the score 1-1.

Head Coach, Nico Estevez, said the team panics under chaos and that’s where they need to improve to hopefully secure one of the seven spots to make the playoffs. “I think there were moments in the second half we were not compacted enough. Even before the goal, and we have to be better on that. That’s where we must improve. It’s what the data is saying and is what we are seeing on the outside.”
