Wings Put Out The Sun

ARLINGTON, Texas- Tonight the Dallas Wings came out on top against the Eastern Conferences’ number 2, Connecticut Sun.

Connecticut came out aggressive starting with the first shot of the night. Dallas showed their dominance on  home court finishing the game 82-71.

Arike Ogunbowale led tonight’s game with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Followed by  Satou Sabally with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.  And Teaira McCowan with 14 points and 7 rebounds.

Wings Head Coach Vickie Johnson said in postgame that tonight’s game will hopefully set the tone for the rest of the season.  “We still have a lot of work to do but this is a good start towards something that we can build. Seattle is different so we’ll give our players a break then we’re back.”
