OXNARD, CA — The NFL requires each team to be down to 85 players by Tuesday afternoon. The Cowboys dropped from 90 players to 85 and are getting closer and closer to that final 53-man roster. Dallas waived five after their first preseason game of the year against the Denver Broncos last Saturday night.
According to Dallas Morning News the Cowboys waive Kyron Brown, Ryan Nall, Ian Bunting, and Ty Fryfogle while outright waiving Austin Faoliu.
Kyron Brown is an undrafted free agent cornerback who played one year for the New York Jets in 2019 and one year for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021.
Ryan Nall is a free agent fullback that played four years at Oregon State and played his last three NFL seasons with the Chicago Bears.
Ian Bunting is a free agent tight end from the University of Michigan that played one year for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021.
Ty FryFogle is a free agent wide receiver who played for the University of Indiana.
Austin Faoliu is a free agent defensive tackle who was signed to the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2021.
Dallas will have to get their roster to 80 by August 23.
