FRISCO, TX – The NFL requires all teams to have their 53-man roster finalized by Tuesday at 4 PM EST. The Dallas Cowboys had to make some moves to fit everyone they needed onto the initial 53-man roster they put together. The key word in that sentence is “initial”, there will be more moves that will go across the NFL in the next day or two as well as players going through waivers and this will tweek the Cowboys roster but not by much.

Yes, if you noticed the Cowboys only have one person currently on special teams and one quarter back. This is by design. Tyron Smith and James Washington will most likely be put on injured reserve which will free up two roster spots. It’s looking like those two spots will be given to Kicker Brett Maher and backup quarterback Cooper Rush.
