TCU Remains Undefeated Beat Texas Tech 34-24

FORT WORTH, Texas — Max Duggan and the TCU Horned Frogs are now 9-0 after beating in state rival Texas Tech 34-24. Derius Davis led the way offensively today by returning the first punt for a 82 yard touchdown. Although Texas Tech has a mediocre record they always come to play especially when it’s against teams like Texas, TCU, and Baylor. For TCU to come away with this win now begs the question of if they will break a top 5 spot in the country.

TCU’s Kendre Miller ran for a team-high 158 yards on 21 carries, his sixth 100-yard game in the last seven contests and 10th of his career. Miller has 1,009 yards on the season, making him TCU’s first 1,000-yard rusher since 2016 when Kyle Hicks had 1,042.

Sonny Dykes has yet again impressed this TCU fan base. His 9 game winning streak is the longest in his career. To top it all off he’s the first Big 12 coach to go this far into his first season without losing.

Moving forward TCU will be on the road as they take on an extremely tough Texas team this Saturday at 6:30pm.
