TCU vs Texas Preview

FORT WORTH — On paper it might not look like the toughest matchup of the year for the Horned Frogs but arguably this Is the toughest game of the year for this TCU squad.

TCU is ranked #4 In the country after their win over Texas Tech last weekend. If they want a chance at the College Football Playoffs they need to win out. Texas to me is the only team on their schedule that could pose a threat to their 9-0 record. Texas started off their season with a one point loss to Alabama leaving Longhorn fans hopeful for a successful season. With that being said, they have not performed and have had some bad losses.

If TCU can stop the run game for the Texas offense they will be in good shape. Max Duggan and his offense have consistently performed this entire season so if they can keep finding star wide receiver Quintin Johnston deep for big yard gains this Longhorn defense will not be able to keep up.

Game is set for 6:30 at Darrell K Royal stadium.
