TCU Looks To Bounce Back After A 64-63 Loss Monday Night

FORT WORTH, TX- The Horned Frogs have had their third slow start to the season Monday night as they took on the Northwestern State Demons.

TCU was able to put up points without their star player, Mike Miles, who sat out with a knee and ankle injury acquired during their game against Lamar. Chuck O’Bannon had 12 points and Micah Peavy with 10 for the frogs.

Eddie Lampkin got the frogs up 63-62 in the last two minutes of the game but TCU did not see the scoreboard again Monday night.

Head Coach Jamie Dixon said they need to find a way to win and that no one feels sorry for them.

“We have good players, we’re just not putting it together and playing together well enough.”

Emanuel Miller said that there were multiple things that went wrong during the game.

“We did some things defensively that we need to clean up. We did a poor job closing out. A lot of mistakes we could’ve done better on.”

There are also updates regarding Damion Baugh. He will be suspended for 6 games, the last three counted towards his suspension.

After tonight’s game Baugh will be sidelined for three more games and will hopefully make an impactful comeback for the Horned Frogs.

TCU and Lousiana- Monroe are both coming into tonight’s game 2-1 and TCU will look to bounce back from their 63-64 loss and live up to the standard they set last season.

Tip-off is at 7pm in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.
