FORT WORTH, TX- TCU made a comeback with their first 35 point lead over an opponent so far this season finishing the game 95-60.

Emanuel Miller took control of the scoreboard with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists.

The frogs seemed to have found a comfortable offensive groove for the first time this season. TCU was able to pass the ball with confidence after a shaky start to the season.

“Our ball movement was amazing,” said Emanuel Miller. “We struggled the past few games coming out with intensity. With this game from the jump we knew we had to show what TCU basketball is about.”

Even without Mike Miles, Rondell Walker was a spark on the defensive side of the ball which has been needed for this TCU team to have a lead like they did tonight.

Chuck O’Bannon also led the scoreboard during the first half with 11 points but was ejected at the end of the first half after a flagrant-two foul.

During the second half Jakobe Coles hit a career high of 15 points.

“Our response from tonight was amazing,” said Emmanuel Miller. “Jakobe Coles stepped up big time. This time last year he wasn’t getting as many minutes but you can see the work he’s put in over the summer. The energy and talent he brings to this team. I feel like we are finally showing what TCU basketball is all about.”

Head Coach Jamie Dixon was pleased that he had three new guards out on the court tonight.

“Here we are supposed to be this experienced team,” said Coach Dixon. “We are playing with three new guards. No one in the country is probably doing that right now.”

UP NEXT- TCU will take on Cal Friday night in the Schollmaier Arena. Tip-off is at 8:30.
