FORT WORTH, TX- The TCU Horned Frogs took down Cal and No.25 Iowa over the Thanksgiving weekend at the Emerald Coast Classic in Florida.

TCU forced 19 turnovers against Cal. It wasn’t the prettiest win the frogs have seen as they struggled defensively during the first half.

The team was able to come out with a spark in the second half. Mike Miles got aggressive on the rim, defense came out strong and never looked back finishing the game 59-48.

The frogs went on to face the undefeated Iowa Hawkeyes taking them down with a 13 point lead, 79-66.

TCU was able to shoot 54% from the field and buckle down on better shot selection which Head Coach Jamie Dixon has put an emphasis on the past three games.

Tonight TCU will look to continue their game winning streak against Providence who are currently 6-2.

Damion Baugh will also make his return tonight after a 6-game NCAA suspension. The frogs will hit the court in the Schollmaier Arena at 7PM
