ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Winning the Big 12 Championship seemed like a dream for the TCU Horned Frogs to start the season but now they have a shot to make those dreams become reality. No. 3 TCU is set to take on No.10 Kansas State Saturday at AT&T stadium with a shot at the College Football Playoffs on the line. Last weekend TCU put together what some call the first complete game of the season as they dominated Iowa State 62-14.
Going into this game Kansa State has three losses on the season but their trajectory since losing to TCU has only been upward. K-State absolutely dominated Oklahoma State and Baylor but fell a little short to Texas.
In their last regular season game the Wildcats defeated rival Kansas 47-27 with running back Deuce Vaughn putting on a clinic registering 229 yards. Bottom line is the TCU defense needs to come to play. If they can stop the run game they will be in good shape. The run game is all Kansas State has found to be successful offensively late in the season but luckily that is what TCU does a great job of maintaining. This game will be a fun one to watch especially knowing that if TCU wins a Big 12 team will be in the College Football Playoffs.
