FORT WORTH, Texas — The TCU Horned Frogs are coming off their first win in Allen Fieldhouse taking down No.2 Kansas Jayhawks 83-60. TCU was able to keep a 10-point lead over the Jayhawks throughout the entirety of the game.
Going into this game many were anxious to see the matchup between preseason all Big 12 honorees Mike Miles and Jalen Wilson.
Although Kansas F Jalen Wilson put up 30 points the Jayhawks offense was absent. The Frogs were able to capitalize and correct some of the previous concerns in their game against West Virginia.
TCU had 54.4 field goal percentage, got to the glass with 36 total rebounds and were able to shoot 53.3 from the line.
Tonight the Horned Frogs look for a second straight win against the Oklahoma Sooners.
OU is coming in with a chip on their shoulder after losing 72-56 to the OSU Cowboys. The Sooners made 11 of 27 shots in the second half with 9 turnovers and were led by Fort Worth native, OSU G Grant Sheffield with 15 points.
The Frogs will take on the Sooners in the Schollmaier Arena. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
