FRISCO, TX – The Dallas Cowboys re-signed defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins to a one-year deal. The Cowboys acquired Hankins midway through last season from the Las Vegas Raiders.
Dallas struggled last season stopping the run offense of other teams and is an area of improvement that the Cowboys are looking to hone in on in the off season.
The Cowboys brought Hankins in midway through last season to help anchor down the defensive line at the nose tackle.
This move is probably not going to be the fans most exciting deal that the Cowboys made but it is something that the Cowboys need to help stop the run game next season. With this move the off season moves for Dallas is almost complete.
